CNC lathes are high-precision and high-efficiency automated machine tools. By using CNC lathes, the processing effect can be improved and more value can be created. The emergence of CNC lathes has enabled enterprises to get rid of their backward processing technology. CNC Lathe processing technology is similar to that of ordinary lathes, but because the CNC lathe is a clamp, it can continuously and automatically process all turning projects. Therefore, we must pay attention to the following aspects.


1. Reasonable Selection of Cutting Amount

The high-efficiency metal cutting includes a material to be processed, a cutting tool, and 3 cutting conditions. These determine the processing time, tool life, and processing quality. The economic and effective processing method must reasonably select the cutting conditions.


The three elements of cutting conditions: cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth will directly cause tool damage. As the cutting speed increases, the tip temperature rises, resulting in mechanical, chemical, and thermal wear. When the cutting speed is increased by 20%, the tool life will be reduced by 1/2.


The relationship between feed conditions and post-tool wear occurs in a very small range. However, the feed rate is large, the cutting temperature rises, and the back wear is large. The cutting speed is less affected than the tool. The influence of cutting depth on the tool Although the cutting speed and feed rate are not large, if the cutting is carried out with a micro cutting depth, the material to be cut will produce a hardened layer, which will also affect the life of the tool.


The user selects the cutting speed used according to the material to be processed, hardness, cutting state, type of material, feed rate, cutting, etc.

The selection of suitable processing conditions is based on these factors. Regular stable wear to reach life is the ideal condition.

However, in actual work, the choice of tool life is related to tool wear, changes in machining dimensions, surface quality, cutting noise, machining heat, etc. When determining the processing conditions, it is necessary to discuss according to the actual situation. For difficult-to-machine materials such as stainless steel and heat-resistant alloys, coolant and a blade with good rigidity can be used.


2. reasonable selection of cutting tools

(1) In the case of rough turning, choose a tool with high strength and good durability. In the case of rough turning, it can meet the requirements of large back edge and large delivery.


(2)When using precision turning, in order to ensure the requirements of processing accuracy, tools with high precision and good durability must be selected.


(3)In order to shorten the replacement time and facilitate the use of knives, pliers and pliers must be used as much as possible.


3. Reasonable Selection of Fixture

(1)Try to choose general fixture clamping workpiece, avoid using special fixture.

(2)The positioning datum of the component is overlapped to reduce the positioning error.


Determine the processing route

The machining path refers to the trajectory and direction of the tool to the parts during the machining process of the digital control machine tool.

Should meet the requirements of machining accuracy and surface roughness;The processing route should be shortened as much as possible to reduce the idle travel time of the tool.Connection between machining route and machining allowance


At present, under the condition that the digital control disc has not been widely used, blue surplus is generally added, especially the surplus amount including forging and casting hard skin layer must be processed on the ordinary disc. If it must be processed in the digital disc, you must pay attention to the soft matching method of the production procedure.
