As we all know, CNC Machining centers are suitable for complex processing, multi-process, high requirements and high demand, various types of ordinary machine tools and various tooling fixtures, and parts that require multiple clamping and adjustment. Its processing objects are mainly box parts, complex surfaces, special-shaped parts, composite plate parts and CNC machining.
(1) Box parts
Box parts generally refer to parts with a porous system, an inner cavity and a certain length, width and high proportion. Such parts are mainly used in machine tools, automobiles, aircraft manufacturing and other industries. Box parts generally need multi-station hole and plane processing, high tolerance requirements, especially the form and position tolerance requirements are relatively strict. They usually go through milling, drilling, diameter expansion, boring, reaming, spot welding, tapping and other processes, requiring more tools. The machining center is used to process box parts. When there are multiple machining stations and the parts can only work, the boring and milling machining center is generally selected.
(2) Complex surface
Complex surfaces play a very important role in machinery manufacturing, especially in the aerospace industry. Using common machining methods, it is difficult or even impossible to complete complex surfaces. In our country, the traditional casting method is precision casting, and it can be imagined that its precision is low. Complex surface parts.
(3) Special-shaped parts
Special-shaped parts are irregular parts, most of which need point, line and surface multi-station mixed processing. The rigidity of special-shaped parts is generally poor, the clamping deformation is difficult to control, the machining accuracy is difficult to guarantee, and even some parts of some parts are difficult to complete with ordinary machine tools. When processing with a machining center, reasonable process measures should be taken to clamp once or twice. The processing characteristics of the mixing of the machining center are multi-station and can complete multiple or all processes.
(4) Disc, Sleeve and Plate
For disc-shaped parts with keyway or radial hole or distributed hole system, curved disc sleeve or shaft zero, such as flange shaft sleeve, keyway or square head shaft parts and porous processing plate, vertical machining center should be selected. For disc-shaped parts with distributed holes and curved surfaces on the end faces of various motors, horizontal machining center with radial holes should be selected.
(5) Test pieces of new products
The machining center has wide adaptability and high flexibility. When the machining object is changed, the CNC machining can be realized by compiling and inputting a new program.
